Well, if you're here, you've found my new home for my blog. I thought I'd move ahead of schedule of trying to break the chains of bondage with AOL. If you wanted to see previous posts, log on to:

It's been a long, long while since I posted anything. Many excuses; no good reason. A number of you started bringing it to my attention, so I finally just had to force myself to update on something.
Anyway, there's just so much to mention. The job's going well. About four months into it and I'm finally getting to understand it! I'll say this much... after the hurricane hell we've had this year, I certainly appreciate where I am right now. And to think we have a month left of hurricane season!
And now that I don't have to travel as much, I've decided to take on a new "reponsibility" in my life. Meet Molly... as you can see her pic on the left just how adorable she is! Originally my brother's dog, I've taken her and like a beaming parent, I can't help but say how cute (well, that you can tell is obvious) and smart she really is!
As I'm learning more and more about being a responsible dog-parent, I'm also learning about dog psychology and communication. It's a language that's often misunderstood as I can tell when I see other dog-parents at the dog park. They yell and scream as if their dog understands everything, not realizing they're encouraging disruptive behavior. If you own a dog, I encourage you to read The Dog Listener by Jan Fennell.
I'm trying to commit myself to update at least 3x a week. I hope I can do it... keep me on my toes!
